Lumina

Light takes different paths: it follows a golden detail, crosses the table, pauses beside a curtain.

Lumina · Visualisation study
The story

The table has its own luminous hour. Later a wall will light up, then a golden detail, then the pale edge of a curtain. In this home, the day seems to arrange small appointments, each brief and different. Lumina is imagined around the pleasure of recognising them, of slowly learning which place to choose to find a particular quality of light again.

Sometimes we give so much attention to what comes next that we lose sight of where we are. A room can call us back gently: a reflection crossing our field of vision, the warmth of a surface, a corner inviting us to sit. We would like these spaces to offer simple opportunities to be present, small returns to what we are truly living.

On quieter days we might move a chair simply to follow the daylight. Stay there for the time it takes to drink a coffee, or for a thought finally to find its words. Then the light will go elsewhere and we will rise. A good feeling will remain from that hour, almost without shape: having been, for a moment, fully within our own time.
