Equilibrio
Forms draw close without crowding. Between one object and the next, enough space remains to feel at ease.

The table leaves space around itself. Furniture draws close with restraint, tones answer one another, each room keeps a place where the eye can rest. This home begins with a desire to make returning simple, preparing proportions and materials that can accompany us without constantly asking for attention. On entering, we would like to sense a quiet openness, the feeling that we can find our own pace.
Some days divide us among many things. We reach evening still scattered through the places we have passed, the words we have spoken, the tasks left unfinished. Equilibrio is imagined for the moment when we try to gather ourselves: putting down a bag, opening the curtains, sitting close to someone. Ordinary gestures that, within a welcoming space, can give us back a small sense of wholeness.
Meanwhile, the room fills with our presence. A chair moves, a blanket stays unfolded, a glass finds its place on the table. Harmony becomes lived in and all the dearer for it. We like to think of a home gentle enough to hold our different days, allowing each of us to rediscover, every time, our own way of feeling well.
