Verdemare
A deep green runs like a thread through the rooms, like the memory of somewhere we once felt happy.
Deep green appears among pale surfaces and luminous details, creating echoes that accompany the passage from one room to another. It meets a curtain, the edge of a mirror, a small object chosen with care. Verdemare takes shape like a memory of colours: something we recognise at once, even though we do not yet know which memory it belongs to.
We imagine it in the first hours of a day off. Footsteps are slow, a window is already open, someone makes breakfast while the rest of the house still sleeps. There are moments when feeling good simply means not having to hurry. Materials and shades seek to accompany this freedom, giving the rooms a relaxed and familiar character.
Daylight enters and changes the green’s tone, which for a little while seems to hold all the freshness of morning. Then the rooms fill with gestures and voices, as they do every day. That shade glimpsed on waking remains: a small inward place to return to later, when we need to find our calm again.
