Solarium
The terrace door stays open. For a little while, the living room too seems to belong to the air.

The terrace door stays open and the living room seems to expand towards the air. Pale interiors guide the eye towards the outdoor seats, where light takes on a different temperature and every sound arrives with a little distance around it. Solarium begins with this simple passage, with the pleasure of crossing a threshold and feeling the way we breathe change along with the landscape.
We imagine a mild day, the kind that makes moving in and out feel natural. A cup is carried outside, a book stays indoors, someone calls from the kitchen. Rooms and terrace take part in the same domestic rhythm. We would like the home to offer this freedom, letting each person choose how much light, how much company, how much quiet to encounter.
By the time we remember the cup on the small table, it will be another hour. The chair’s shadow will have changed, daylight will have moved across the floor. We will go to fetch it with the light feeling of having left a small fragment of morning outside. Some homes teach us the passage of time this way, through cherished things we find again in a different light.
