Nido

Close to greenery, the room draws inward. The first luxury is feeling safe enough to rest.

The story

From the bed, the eye meets greenery and is free to stay there. Wood brings the room into a more intimate dimension, soft surfaces accompany the light, every detail seems to seek a measure of comfort. Nido is imagined around a very simple wish: to return to a place where we can set down what we carry, even when no one else can see its weight.

Perhaps you know the feeling of returning after a journey. The suitcase stays closed, we sit down for a moment, recognise the sounds. The body rediscovers familiar distances and slowly stops being on its guard. We would like this home to hold something of that stillness, giving rest a real space and silence the chance to become gentle company.

Outside, a leaf shifts its position. Inside, light draws a shadow on the fabric that will soon be somewhere else. We can watch it for as long as we like, or close our eyes. Some places make us feel welcome in precisely this way: by leaving us free to be fully there, even when the only thing we want is to rest.
