Convivio
From the kitchen to the outdoor table, there is always room to draw up another chair.

Dinner can begin in the kitchen and continue on the terrace, following the desire to stay outside a little longer. Wood and warm tones bring these two ways of being together close, preparing the passage from practical gestures to the pleasure of lingering. Convivio is imagined for evenings that find their own length, when company makes looking at the time unnecessary.
There are people we can sit with even when we have nothing important to tell. It is enough to feel their presence, share a dish, pass the bread. We would like a home that accompanies that ease, making room for those who arrive and sheltering those who stay. The table becomes an emotional centre, a place where everyday life can gather and find warmth.
Then the voices grow fewer. A displaced chair remains, two glasses close together, the cool of evening entering slowly. Someone begins clearing the table, someone else promises to return soon. It is a fragile, full moment, when the house empties yet seems to contain everyone still. We imagine it this way: inhabited also by the faint echo of encounters.
