Notturno
The blue deepens and the lamps come on. Everything outside can carry on; here, we lower our voices.

As evening arrives, the blue grows deeper. The walls gather the gaze; lamps bring out just a few details: the curve of a seat, a luminous edge, the weave of a fabric. The rooms acquire a different closeness. It feels possible to lower our voices and let things return, slowly, to the right distance.
Perhaps you too know the relief of closing the door after a day full of demands. Of standing still for a moment, your jacket still on, before deciding what to do. Notturno is imagined around that threshold: a place where we can feel free to be tired, happy or thoughtful, without having to explain immediately how we are.
Between dark colours and accents of light, an evening can become entirely our own. A record ending, a message we can answer tomorrow, our usual place on the sofa. Outside, windows keep lighting up. Inside, time seems to gather within the reach of a lamp, and for a little while we feel exactly where we want to be.
