Chiaroscuro
Light travels over the wood and gathers in corners, giving each surface its own moment.

Light travels over the wood and finds an edge on which to rest. A little farther on, a patch of shade gives the room depth and brings out the volume of a piece of furniture. Chiaroscuro is composed through these gentle differences: warm tones, measured forms, the slow passage between what we see at once and what we learn to recognise only by staying.
We too bring brighter and more inward parts of ourselves home. There are days when we want to talk, and others when it is enough to have someone close who understands our silence. This concept looks for a balance that can welcome both: rooms in which to find company and small places to pause where we can feel free to be on our own.
Through the afternoon, the pattern of shadows will change. A previously discreet detail will become the centre of our attention; another will grow quiet. This is a beauty that asks us to be present, with the same light attentiveness we give to people we love when we notice a nuance in their voice. Living here would mean continuing to discover.
