Luce d’Oro

There is an hour when brass catches the light and even the simplest gesture acquires an unexpected grace.

The story

There is a brief hour when golden edges light up and fabrics seem to gather the colour of honey. Light passes between curtains, meets the wood and rests along the edge of a piece of furniture. Everything takes on a particular softness, as though the house knew we were about to return and had chosen its gentlest moment to welcome us.

We imagine a place where we feel received even when we are alone. A comfortable seat, the right place to put down a book, a lamp switched on before darkness falls. Warm details and embracing furniture accompany the wish to return to a more intimate scale, where we can give ourselves a pause without having to earn it through more work.

Evening will come and that reflection will move to another wall, then disappear. The warmth of the materials and the things we have chosen to keep close will remain. Luce d’Oro inhabits this fragile transition: the moment when the day ends, the noise recedes and we realise there is still a little time to give to ourselves.
