Giardino Sospeso

Under the pergola, shade moves to a different rhythm. It crosses the floor, travels over the table and brushes a chair someone has just pulled closer. Plants mark the edge of this open room, suspended between the house and the sky. An ordinary day could take a happy turn here: an improvised lunch, a friend who stays, the decision to put everything off for half an hour.

We like to think of spaces that make room without asking for explanations. Another chair can always be found; a conversation can begin late. Between greenery, the dining area and quiet places to rest, this imagined garden gathers the wish to be together naturally, while allowing everyone the freedom to step aside for a moment.

At the end of the afternoon, the table holds small traces: a fold in the cloth, a forgotten glass, a branch casting a new shadow. Voices grow fewer and the house begins to breathe softly again. A nameless gratitude remains for hours well spent, for what was simple and, for that very reason, we would like to remember.
