Doppia Altezza
Under the beams, our gaze rises before we do. The house invites discovery upwards too.

Under the beams, the eye rises before our footsteps do. The staircase suggests another way to read the house, a perspective waiting a little higher up. Wood accompanies this discovery with a warm presence, making even the more articulated volumes feel close. Every passage reveals a different detail, as happens in places we remember through small journeys.
We like to think of daily life made of gentle distances too. A voice coming from the next room, someone leaning out, the pleasure of looking for each other. This imagined dwelling leaves room for closeness and independence: we can be together, step away to read, find each other again a little later beneath the same pattern of beams and light.
As we climb, a familiar room becomes almost a landscape. The whole table comes into view, an armchair looks smaller, a line of light crosses the floor in an unexpected direction. Sometimes the smallest distance lets us look tenderly at what we see every day. Doppia Altezza would like to offer this small possibility of wonder too.
